August 2, 2007: My leader calls me "sociable." He means I like be with others, whether dogs or people. Today, I met two new people and I was very excited. I thought that one of the men was going to give me a piece of his cake, so I sat in front of him and wagged my tail. I reached out for what he had in his hand, but I was wrong! All he had was a napkin. I was disappointed, but I got a good dinner. My leader keeps telling about some visitors that are coming to see me soon named Sara and Zachary. I don't know who they are yet, but being so "sociable," I know I'll like them!

Hello, Sheba, from Texas,
My leader is your leader's mate's sister. My name is Sophie. They say I'm very social, too. My favorite place is right in my leader's lap. If her lap isn't available, I'll take anyone's lap. As long as they scratch my back a little, I'm happy.
Today I have to go to the dog dentist. Did you ever go to the dog dentist? They have told me I'll be taking a long nap and then I can go home and sit in my leader's lap again.
Maybe someday I can meet you and we can play together. I love playing with other dogs.
They say it's time to go to the dog dentist now. I'll let you know how it goes!

Sheba -
We are sorry you did not get a piece of cake. A napkin can be disappointing!!
Sara and Zachary can't wait to play with your "gift from God" (aka tennis ball) and see your ivy patch!! It will be fun to take you on a walk and see all that you enjoy there!!
We can't wait to see you,
Love,
Sara and Zachary
(peace out...) ??
